We’re getting down and dirty to transform a century old livestock paddock into our first garden. With decades of manure rich soil, it’s a great place for growing some tasty produce. The tilling is complete. A selection of potatoes, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and pumpkins will be planted soon.
Your garden is gonna be amazing! Enjoy all of that homegrown goodness. 🙂
Thanks… looking forward to the gardening experience. I’m more of hunter vs a gatherer…. so we’ll see how this goes. lol
Good luck! When we moved to our current home there was a huge garden just waiting for vegetables, but absolutely no nutrients in the soil. My horses have since helped on that front and we enjoy having fresh food all summer long.
Thanks for the comment. The soil looks great. I unearthed lots of farm equipment artifacts. I’ll blog about our garden progress this summer.
I want a garden this big! Mine is small but I also want someone to come till it for me too 🙂
Thanks Heather. I’ll take any gardening advice you can offer.
Thank you for reading my post about our little garden. I came here to see yours and Wow!! your garden is MUCH bigger than ours!! 🙂 I will try not to feel inferior as I watch your garden grow this summer!
